Airbnb has revealed the summer holiday destinations Australians have been searching for the most on its platform.
Coming in at number one domestically is the Sunshine Coast, then the Gold Coast and Byron Bay. The list is rounded out by the NSW Mid North Coast, Great Ocean Road, Mornington Peninsula, Jervis Bay, Sydney, Far South Coast and Melbourne.
Among the international destinations, London came in at number one, closely followed by Bali, New York, Los Angeles and Oahu. Also in the top 10 were Tokyo, Fiji, Singapore, Paris and Queenstown.
Airbnb’s Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand told 7news: “We believe many Aussies will be taking advantage of international travel opening up to reconnect with loved ones, and our community of hosts … are delighted to play a part in this.”
