In Canberra, the Australians & Hollywood exhibition currently showing at the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) has been extended into 2023.
On display is the wedding dress Toni Collette wore in Muriel’s Wedding, costumes from Moulin Rouge and Mick Dundee’s “That’s not a knife…this is a knife” dagger from Crocodile Dundee.
The exhibition is NSFA’s first original show in more than 20 years and showcases the archives’ collection of costumes, props and footage, plus some private items on loan from Australian actors.
NFSA’s CEO Patrick McIntyre said: “Extending [the exhibition] from July will also give wider audiences a chance to add it to their Canberra itineraries now that travel is opening up.”
