There have been a lot of innovations in travel experiences since the pandemic. But hand it to the guys at the Cow Cuddling Company in Goldsborough, South Cairns.
Apparently, we’re all so stressed out that a chance to meet and cuddle hand-raised therapy cows is a thing.
“Cow cuddling is a legitimate therapeutic service and a fun recreational activity suitable for the whole family,” according to the company.
“Cow Cuddling involves meeting, sitting with, cuddling and scratching hand-raised cows on a farm. The slower heart rate and warm body temperature of the cows induces a slowing of our own heart rate, as well as the release of oxytocin, our social-bonding hormone.”
Amy, Ella, Holly, Nushi, Sally, Sophia, Milkshake and Babyccino are the cows. Apparently, they are the cream of the crop.
An hour’s cow cuddling costs $179 for up to six people, and there is even a corporate cuddle for up to 50 employees at $479.
