For two years, Disney theme parks have maintained a very strict no hug rule, but now once again, kids and youthful adults will be able to embrace their favourite Disney characters.
The company wrote in a blog post: “Very soon, you will once again be able to hug Mickey Mouse, get an autograph from Mulan, and share a laugh with Goofy.
We know many of you have missed these special moments, and your Disney character friends have missed you, too!”
Hugging is set to make a return from mid-April, but Disney stated that the reintroduction of costumed character greetings will not happen all at once, but in phases.
