In some good news for international travel, British Airways’ latest timetable shows a return of flights from the UK to Sydney via Singapore from late March 2022.
It’s been almost two years since the airline was forced to suspend the Kangaroo route once Singapore announced a ban on transit passengers during the start of the pandemic.
According to Executive Traveller, while the daily BA15/BA16 flights remain scrubbed through to 26 March 2022, the airline’s website now lists BA15 as back in the skies from March 27 setting out on the London-Singapore-Sydney route alongside the regular London-Singapore BA11. But, this doesn’t mean that British Airways will definitely return to Sydney. The date represents the official start of the aviation industry’s Northern Summer 2022 season when all airlines align their schedules for the following six months.
