The upcoming ski season is going to be a big one. With international escapes still seemingly far on the horizon demand is expected to be high.
This week, Thredbo’s season passes went on sale, while rentals, lessons and lift passes will be part of a staggered release throughout the month, starting April 6.
Thredbo’s general manager, Stuart Diver, expects demand will be ‘unprecedented’. New events include sunrise sessions and night-time rides on the Merritts Gondola. Details will soon be announced for opening weekend celebrations, including live entertainment and kids’ activities.
QantasLink routes flying Sydney/Brisbane to Cooma-Snowy Mountains start from $179/$239 each way from July 1.
