A bushwalk in the Blue Mountains just got a lot more spectacular, with Blue Mountains City Council launching the Katoomba Falls Night-lit Walk.
Over 400 twinkling LED lights along the 1.3-kilometre walk offer a night-time viewing experience of natural features such as Orphan Rock, Witches Leap and Katoomba Falls. The lit-up trail also showcases the Three Sisters in full glow.
The walk took close to six years to build and is suitable for all ages. Lights turn on at dusk, with floodlights turning off at 10:30 pm and path lights out at 11 pm.
