The Australian Museum already boasts free entry to its permanent collections but is stepping up its offerings with the return of Nights at the Museum. Until the end of June, the museum will stay open late on Thursday nights, bolstering the excitement with musical performances, entertainment and activities.
You can look forward to performances from artists such as Rufino and the Coconuts and the Sydney Youth Orchestra, and view the celebration of First Nations Peoples at Ngalu Warrawi Marri.
The museum, restaurant and gift shop are open until 9pm each Thursday, with a pop-up bar and DJ keeping the mood going.
Also open late on Thursdays is the recently opened special exhibition, Jurassic World by Brickman, where you can see six million Lego bricks fashioned into dinosaurs.
