Tourism Operator Anthony Moss saw his business crumbling when the pandemic hit, but lately it’s been doing a complete u-turn, as his Ultimate Driving Tours are surging in popularity.
Ultimate Driving Tours gives customers the chance to drive in their dream car as they glide past some of the world’s most iconic destinations.
Australian tours have been selling out this year, with travellers seeking adventure in a post-COVID world.
Mr Moss comments: “There’s definitely a trend where people want something more action-packed. They don’t have just ‘Here is the Eiffel Tower’ or ‘Here is the Colosseum’, they want a travel experience with mixed passions, such as food and wine.”
Mr Moss also adds that its not just car lovers who can enjoy these tours.
“A lot of our clients are not necessarily people who are into cars. It’s that you get to have a completely different vacation. It doesn’t hurt that most travel agents wouldn’t recommend these places. They’re in country areas and the only way to get to them is by car.”
Some currently offered Australian tours include a seven day Tasmania drive and a Victoria Highlands four day adventure, both involve you exploring these areas in your luxury sports car.
