To encourage travellers back to the Apple Isle, the Tasmanian and Federal governments are offering 10,000 travel vouchers to residents of South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia.
The $300 worth of vouchers can be spent on travel in Tasmania, with $200 for accommodation and $100 for attractions and tours. The vouchers will be allocated by ballot and those who are successful can redeem through the Tassie Holiday Voucher online marketplace.
Tasmania’s tourism minister, Sarah Courtney, said: “This voucher program will bring attention to our spectacular products and destinations to encourage visitation.”
The ballot opens 9am AEDT, October 29.
