Secret Sounds, the organisation behind top music festivals such as Splendour in the Grass, has announced gigs in southern Queensland and northern New South Wales, with proceeds going towards fundraising efforts for flood-affected areas.
Three tour dates have been scheduled, each with star-studded line-ups. Last week, the Kingscliff Beach Hotel hosted Andy Garvey, DJ Seinfeld and Flume.
On Saturday, March 26, see Bernard Fanning, The Rubens, Cub Sport and more at the Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane. Or head to the Beach Hotel, Byron Bay, to see Wolfmother, Dune Rats, Tex Perkins and plenty of other acts.
Money will go to charities and organisations such as Lifeline, GIVIT, Koori Mail Bundjalung Community Flood Relief and the Northern Rivers Community Foundation.
Tickets are $89 for the Brisbane event, and from $59.90 for the Byron Bay night out. Also, check out the Secret Sounds Flood Aid auction which promises VIP tickets as well as money can’t buy experiences with some big names, such as a round of golf with Bernard Fanning and Pat Davern of Grinspoon. Auction ends Friday April 22.
