IHG Hotels & Resorts, which owns the luxury InterContinental brand, is coming to Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. The group is refurbishing Sorrento’s Hotel Continental.
The hotel, endearingly called the “Conti” by locals, will have a new, luxurious lease on life when the InterContinental Sorrento opens in November 2021. The property is poised to once again become a beacon of glamour and sophistication.
The group aims to transform the beautiful heritage building into a luxury hotel with 106 beautifully appointed staterooms, five dining and bar venues, an outdoor pool and luxury bathhouse. The grand ballroom will also be restored to her full glory.
