Flight Centre co-founder and CEO Graham Turner and his wife, Jude, founder of Spicers Retreats, will launch a private home rental service for cashed-up holidaymakers.
Launching in September, the Private Collection by Spicers will also rent out some of the Turner family’s own properties, including their luxury First Point apartment overlooking Main Beach, Noosa, which they purchased 20 years ago, and the Beach Shack on Belongil Beach near Byron Bay. A third property in Glasshouse Mountains is slated for rental.
Private Collection by Spicers aims to have more than 50 private homes in its portfolio within the next 24 months, with plans to add luxury residences in the Barossa, Port Douglas and on Hamilton Island.
Spicers Retreats has made contact with “a community of proud property owners” hoping to bring their luxury homes under management. “We’ll have some amazing opportunities for people to experience the country’s most sought-after holiday locations in a home they’ll feel like is their own,” said general manager David Lacey.
