A mainstay in Sydney’s arts scene, Sydney Fringe Festival is back for 2022, running more than 500 events from August 16 to September 30.
Some 2000 artists are taking part, and 50 different venues across Sydney.
The festival’s CEO and director, Kerri Glasscock, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to support and present the work of Sydney’s incredible indie arts sector as part of our most ambitious program to date.”
“There has never been a better time to get out and explore Sydney Fringe, and we can’t wait for audiences to experience the very best the city has to offer.”
Just-announced headline acts include the acclaimed comedic theatre production Titanic: The Movie, The Play, held at the Australian National Maritime Museum, and Bernie Dieter’s Club Kabarett.
