Singapore airlines has revealed their upgraded A380 that will be flying between New York and Singapore, with a stopover in Frankfurt.
The airlines A380 only just returned to service after nearly two years out of the game, but it wasn’t just resting but rather getting refurbished and improved.
The return of the A380 flights are also coinciding with a return of A350 flights between New York and Changi.
However, their headline of the return is the revamped A380, already the world’s largest passenger plane, being dotted with luxurious features.
The aircraft is now home to six opulent first-class suites that look more like a hotel penthouse than a plane, each more than 15 square metres and fitted out with reclining leather armchairs, a plush bed and sliding doors. If you’re with a travel companion you even have the option to combine suites and double your space, even getting a spacious double bed as well.
First-class flyers will also have a wardrobe with all the space you need, as well as pajamas and slippers. If you’re not feeling fresh you can change that in the vanity bathroom and washbasin, complete with an amenity kit from Lalique.
There’s also plenty to keep you entertained with a 32-inch HD touchscreen TV and handheld tablet with all your in-flight entertainment options that can be enjoyed through Bang & Olufsen noise-canceling headphones.
As you’d expect, the meals will also be served with a touch of luxury, arriving to you on fine line and Wedgewood china, with your choice of Dom Perignon or Krug to wash it down.
While the first-class suites are undoubtedly the highlight, there’s also 78-business class seats, 44 premium economy and 343 economy on the A380.
