Parents of school children in New South Wales are receiving a well-earned present, with $250 worth of vouchers to spend on entertainment and accommodation set to come their way.
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet said it’s the state’s way of saying thank you.
“This is a testament and a tribute to all parents who have made an incredible effort over the last two years, particularly in circumstances of home schooling which we all know has been incredibly tough over this difficult period of time,” he said.
“We want to put downward pressure on family budgets, but importantly as well, we want to support those areas in those industries that have been doing it tough.”
The vouchers will be issued as five separate $50 vouchers via the Service NSW app and will be valid until October 9, 2022.
