About 300 kilometres south of Perth is the gorgeous town of Manjimup, famous for its black truffles.
The Truffle Kerfuffle has announced its 10-year anniversary festival. The truffles will be washed down with selected local wine and foodies will have the chance to meet with farmers and growers and hear about the process that led to the deliciousness on offer.
There’ll be wine-shed sessions and truffle hunts. While the closing party is adults only, there are plenty of kid-friendly events, including free kids cooking classes. Spirits will be high due to the combination of a 10-year anniversary and the collective relief of the festival returning after a pandemic-induced hiatus.
