Wagner’s Ring Cycle is coming to Bendigo, thanks to the Melbourne Opera.
The $5 million production involves more than 250 Australian singers, musicians, creatives and technicians, and will be exclusively staged in Bendigo for six weeks from March 24 until May 1, 2023, at the Ulumbarra Theatre.
Melbourne Opera’s Greg Hocking said: “Our production is only the third ever Australian generated production of Wagner’s Ring, not to mention the first full staging of The Ring in regional Australia.”
