Skydive Australia and Sea World Helicopters have launched an adrenaline-packed heli skydive experience where guests can skydive directly onto Main Beach, Surfers Paradise in the heart of the Gold Coast.
Operating three days a week, Friday through Sunday, Skydive Surfers Paradise will be the only tandem heli skydiving experience operating regularly in Australia. Three skydivers and their tandem masters will fly on an AS350 Squirrel Airbus helicopter before exiting at 10,000 feet, experiencing an exhilarating freefall and then floating serenely under canopy for a further five minutes to take in the spectacular views of the Gold Coast before landing on the beach.
Skydive Australia is owned by leading Australian adventure company Experience Co. It currently operates skydiving at 16 drop zones throughout Australia and New Zealand with this being the only heli experience on offer.
Skydives can be booked online and will depart from the Sea World Helipad adjacent to the theme park’s entrance. The cost for the experience will be $570, with an optional video package available for $179.
