Cruise the Menindee Lakes that provide waterbird habitat with more than 30 species of waterbirds, including threatened species such as freckled duck and migratory waders.
The Menindee Lakes were a series of shallow natural ephemeral lakes along the Darling River which have been developed into a water storage.
When full they hold three and half times as much water as Sydney Harbour.
See the tree where ill-fated explorers Burke and Wills carved their names at the Menindee Lake foreshore. Visit the historic Kinchega Woolshed.
