It’s easy to write off your accommodation as just a base for your explorations of other attractions, but sometimes your place to stay becomes the attraction itself.
Just 10 minutes’ drive from Oberon in the New South Wales Central Tablelands, you’ll find it’s glamping season at Mayfield Garden from December 27 through to January 26.
In this exclusive period, luxury packages are available which allow couples and families to immerse themselves in the garden’s kaleidoscope of colours.
You will enjoy exclusive early-morning and evening access to the beautiful 65-hectare garden and private estate, a seasonal three-course dinner and an overnight stay in one of 15 glamping tents erected by the Obelisk Pond. There’s access to hot showers and onsite bathrooms and tents are complete with rugs and comfy beds made up in fine linens.
Better yet, if you were ever going to treat yourself to Mayfield Glamping, now is the time. Not only does the pop-up accommodation coincide with the Mayfield Summer Festival, but “the garden has never looked better as a result of the amazing rain we have received at Mayfield over the last 12 or so months”, said Mayfield spokesperson Chris Muldoon.
“Another consequence of the beautiful rainfall is that the normal spring experience at Mayfield will extend well into summer this year – so expect beautiful colours and rolling green lawns as part of your glamping experience this December and January.”
The glamping package includes dinner in a new outdoor dining marquee which has been installed near the garden restaurant.
“The à la carte three-course meal is what elevates the glamping experience at Mayfield – not only do you sleep in luxury, but you enjoy an outstanding dining experience as part of your package,” said Mr Muldoon.
Look forward to feasting on the spoils of the Central Tablelands region, with the highest quality regional produce including fresh vegetables from the Mayfield Garden making up a delicious main menu before dessert is served under a sky full of stars.
The Mayfield team want your stay to be the best it can be, and are offering optional extras such as private garden tours, catered sunset or sunrise picnics with champagne, and breakfast packs delivered to your tent.
It’s the perfect setting to sweep a special someone off their feet or to show your little ones a new way to stay with a family glamping experience.
If you want to trade waking up in a hotel room for a front-row seat to Australia’s largest cool-climate garden, don’t miss the opportunity of Mayfield Glamping this summer.
