The best example would be the captivating Freycinet National Park, which houses popular tourist attraction Wineglass Bay. And yes, it really is shaped like a wineglass!
There’s also the underrated Douglas-Apsley National Park near Bicheno. It’s home to river gorges, quiet waterholes and the breathtaking Apsley Falls.
The East Coast has some beautiful seaside towns that are worth a day’s trip too, like Scamander, St Mary’s and Orford.
