The arts and culture precinct has just announced its two festive markets, including the Christmas Market for last-minute shoppers. Featured among the 80+ stalls are handmade Christmas puddings, chocolates, confectionery and cakes, Christmas hams, poultry and seafood from small-scale local farmers and producers, vegan alternatives from meat-free roasts to dairy-free cheeses, condiments, pickles and preserves galore, plus the regular range of dairy, eggs, award-winning cheeses, baked goods and pantry essentials for cooking, entertaining and gifting – from tea, coffee, flour, pasta, salt olive oil and spices. Matt Whiley from South Eveleigh’s sustainability-focused RE bar will also be showcasing upcycled ingredients in cocktails and a range of ready-to-eat bar treats.
