Qantas has announced a boost for travel to Albury, with a brand-new season Adelaide to Albury route to launch this July.
This new direct link between South Australia and Albury-Wodonga will open a whole new path for travel and for a limited time, a one-way ticket from Adelaide starts from $179.
The route will start from July 8, with two weekly return flights operating until September 25, saving travellers more than three hours from the Melbourne or Sydney connection they’ve previously been resigned to.
QantasLink CEO John Gissing said: “A new capital city route is fantastic news for Albury which is quickly becoming one of our most connected regional centres.
“The direct flights to Adelaide and increased Brisbane services will create stronger connections for business travellers and also make it easier for interstate visitors to experience all that the Albury-Wodonga region has to offer.”
