QantasLink has announced two brand new routes, linking some of Australia’s top wine regions to major cities.
The new services are between Wagga Wagga and Brisbane and between Adelaide and Newcastle.
The Wagga Wagga service to Brisbane is the first service between the Riverina and Queensland in four years.
Meanwhile, QantasLink will also be operating the only flights between Newcastle and Adelaide, linking the Hunter Wine region with Adelaide for the first time.
Both services will operate three weekly return flights beginning on March 28.
This comes shortly after the news that Qantas has begun operating direct flights between Brisbane and Launceston ahead of Tasmania’s reopening.
The Brisbane to Launceston route marks the eighth new Tasmanian route announced by Qantas and Jetstar since the beginning of the pandemic, marking the increased demand of domestic travel.
