Norwegian Cruise Line, a leading international operator for 54 years, has announced to the world that its newest vessel, Norwegian Prima, has left its shipyard in Italy and taken to the seas.
The float out is a celebration of the completion of the ship’s external work and painting, with interior work still to be done before she is ready to take passengers around the globe in 2022.

“Our eighteenth ship, Norwegian Prima represents an exciting new chapter for our brand and the first vessel to be delivered in our groundbreaking new Prima Class,” said Harry Sommer, President and Chief Executive Officer of NCL.
“We’ve worked closely with our partners at Fincantieri to deliver a truly remarkable vessel,” he said, adding it’s “one of the most stylish and innovative ships to ever set sail”.
The ship is a massive 142,500 gross tons and is built to take 3215 guests, with two infinity pools and 14 restaurants.
