Premier Steven Marshall is excited for Bloom 2021 to encourage visitors and spending through Adelaide and regional South Australia. He said: “Our city is known for its summer of sport, the Mad March festival season and winter attractions such as the Adelaide Cabaret and new major event Illuminate Adelaide – now it’s time for spring to shine. Springtime is when Adelaide is in full bloom, so it is the perfect time to hold more events, more often. Our state’s spring calendar is more exciting than ever.”
Some of the events included in Bloom Festival are: the Royal Adelaide Show, September 4–12; the Australian Superbike Championship, September 24–26; CheeseFest, October 23–24; and new arts festival Barossa Contemporary, October 8–9.
