The Adelaide Hills will come alive with the Winter Reds 2021 festival over the weekend of July 23-25. There are 79 events across the three days and this year’s theme is What’s Your Red?
According to Jared Stringer, president of Adelaide Hills Wine Region, visiting during the cooler months showcases the sublime vintages, foods and local produce.

He said: “We’re so excited about this year’s line-up, there’s something for everyone – from educational tastings for the ‘cork dorks’ to paired meals for the foodies, and parties with live music by the fire for the fun lovers.
“This year, wineries across the Hills have been challenged to think about ‘What’s Your Red?’ and have gone all out to create experiences that really showcase the best of their red wines, all packed into the best weekend of winter.”
A highlight will be the Italian Reds Workshop hosted by La Prova estate where you will taste, talk and compare the Adelaide Hills wines with their native Italian counterparts. Also, head to the Long Lunch at Wicks Estate Wines, a wine-matched modern-Asian degustation featuring dishes from local eateries.
