Insight Vacations has teamed up with BakeClub founder Anneka Manning for this foodie’s dream trip in Tasmania.
Over nine days in October, host Anneka will uncover the stories behind the people, produce and places that make Tasmania a gourmet-lovers’ destination. Guests will join in workshops, visit sustainable farms, talk to artisan bakers and explore markets from Hobart and the Huon Valley to the Freycinet Peninsula and Launceston.
“I have called on old and new foodie friends alike to help create an exclusive collection of food-and-wine-based experiences that will not only give a unique insight into selected artisan producers, but also the special relationship each one of them has with Tasmania,” said Ms Manning.
Part of the trip includes meeting some of Anneka’s foodie friends including Agrarian Kitchen’s Rodney Dunn, food activist Curly Haslam-Coates, forager Analiese Gregory and pastry chef Franca Zingler.
The tour departs October 17 and costs $5975 per person, including luxury stays.
