Love them or hate them, sharks are exciting. So the Australian Museum's new Sharks exhibition is already proving a big hit.
The exhibit is set to run until January 31 and celebrates everything about the ocean's apex predators. There will be twilight talks with shark experts with filmmaker Michaela Skovranova in conversation with the Australian Museum's Dr Jenny Newell on November 2 and research scientist for the NSW Department of Primary Industries Dr Paul Butcher will speak on December 7.
There are also school holiday programs for kids to enjoy and educate themselves on sharks, including natural photography workshops for kids who want to learn how best to capture wildlife on camera.
The exhibition is highly interactive and has plenty for kids, families and adults alike. Tickets cost $29 per adult and $17.50 per child. Twilight talks are $90 per person and include exhibition entry.
