Paperbark Camp, Australia's "glamping" pioneer set among soaring eucalypts close to stunning Jervis Bay, on the NSW South Coast, is staging a series of three-night winter wellness retreats over May, June and August.
Along with daily yoga and breathwork, life-coaching and meditation sessions, there'll be forest bathing, guided bushwalks, Indigenous cultural experiences and campfire drum circles - not to mention opportunities to kayak (with dolphins if you're lucky) on the bay.
At night, you'll go to sleep between organic linen sheets in a luxury, elevated, heated tent with an open-air ensuite and handmade bath products. Where do we sign!
Unbuckle up
The folks in South Australia are urging lovers of the good life from around the country to unbuckle their belts, rev up their tastebuds and head to Tasting Australia from April 28 to May 7. The festival involves 150 events spanning all 12 regions of the state, from Kangaroo Island to the Flinders Ranges.
At Town Square Kitchen in Adelaide, book for brunch, lunch or dinner prepared by leading international chefs. Head to the Adelaide Hills for Oysters in the Hills, a fusion of music, wine and bivalves (which you can also learn to shuck); or to the Fleurieu Peninsula for a six-course lunch at McLaren Vale vineyard Maxwell Wines, which features a lime cave where the feast will kick off. These three are just a taster of a stunning program.
