Heading to the NSW capital this summer and looking for some great places to eat and drink? A flurry of new restaurants and bars have opened in one of the city's hottest dining precincts, Quay Quarter Sydney, located in the heart of the CBD, a short walk from the Sydney Opera House in one direction and the Harbour Bridge in the other.
Kick off the evening on the rooftop bar of Martinez with Spritz Tropique (a heady concoction of mango, coconut, lemon myrtle and vodka). The chic environs of the Pearl restaurant (think plush leather couches and walls clad in wooden panels) should be the site of your dinner, complete with delicacies such as the slow-cooked smoked soy chicken with lemongrass. Then kick on at Penelope's with their signature Salt and Vinegar Martini in hand. quayquartersydney.com.au
