Put together by StudentUniverse, an online travel retailer for young people and a subsidiary of Flight Centre Travel Group, the report shows a staggering 57 per cent Gen Zers would rather spend money on things other than alcohol, with 62 per cent believing alcohol gets them into unsafe situations, and 56 per cent saying alcohol makes them feel unwell and spoils the next day.
