All 156 rooms are supremely comfortable, with well-appointed ensuites and many even have work desks. While there's no dearth of excellent eateries nearby (both Chin Chin for top-notch Asian fare and Alberto's Lounge for hearty Italian are within five minutes' walk), if you want to stay put, there's a lovely onsite eatery (pictured) too, where you can fuel up on modern Australian fare - from sous-vide cauliflower steaks to crisp pork belly. songhotels.com.au
