Australians love the South Pacific. But most don’t venture beyond Fiji, missing some stunning experiences.  

Look at a chart of tourism arrivals for the South Pacific’s numerous island resorts, and one destination towers over every other. Fiji, has more than three times the number of visitors of its neighbours.

Yet almost all of the destinations boast similar, if not better, attractions: fabulous beaches, clear waters, friendly locals and unspoilt scenery. And in a world that is just waking up to overtourism, their lack of tourists becomes a drawcard in itself.
