Walls, carpets, couches... even bedheads at the just-opened Sebel Wellington Lower Hutt are clad in mesmerising shades of electric blue, inspired by the Hutt River just out the window and Wellington Harbour in the distance.
But this hotel is as much about practicality as it is about good looks. Even the smallest rooms feature king-sized beds, cute kitchenettes, microwaves and small refrigerators, making long stays a convenience.
